Yacht Agent in Tunisia Clearance and Bunkering in All Ports
Port Agent in Every Tunisian port since 1975Deniz Yachting has acted as a maritime agency in Tunisia since 1975. From our office in Bizerte, we act as port agent for visiting yachts in every Tunisian port, from Tabarka in the north to Zarzis in the south, working directly with captains, chief engineers, crew and management companies.
We handle yacht clearance on arrival and departure with customs, immigration and the harbour master, and obtain the cruising permit and transit log required for cruising Tunisian waters. We reserve berths before you arrive, including large-yacht berths allocated on request. We arrange bunkering and fresh water delivered alongside by road tanker, with the customs declaration and quantity survey handled by the agent, and provisioning sourced locally and delivered to the vessel. Technical assistance and repairs are coordinated through vetted local partners, including customs clearance of spare parts, and we meet crew and guests at the airport and transfer them to the yacht.
Whether you are a captain planning a call, a chief engineer arranging bunkers, a management company preparing an itinerary or an insurer instructing a yacht survey, one agent handles the vessel from pre-arrival to departure, in fifty years of the same ports.
What does a yacht agent do in Tunisia?
A yacht agent represents the vessel ashore. In Tunisia, arrival and departure involve customs, immigration, the harbour master and the port authority, each with its own procedure and documents. Deniz Yachting attends these authorities on behalf of the captain, so that no crew member has to leave the yacht to complete formalities.
